This is heartbreaking Why did they let this girl die? This was a slow & painful death. Some boarding schools are worse than prisons. There has to be consequences. I hope the authorities will investigate Beryl's death &those culpable must face justice.
As one of the students from St.Teresa's of Avilla Secondary school. Ndalat, died a slow and painful death while at school and no one bothered to check on her or even take her to a better hospital for check-up. The stuff and the non stuff were all there to see the suffering of the young lady who had just joined school, form 1. They all said that the 16 year old girl pretending and that she had to bare with the situation till she goes home for closing, since it was homesick. This young lady had no option but to bare the pain, later she started sleeping in the dormitory all alone left with nobody to check after her.
On November date 3, 2021 the family of Beryl Jerop received a call received a series of phone calls, that completely changed there lives. Uncle to Jerop had received two phone calls, and the third phone call he received, he was told that Jerop had passed on. The school management explained that Jerop had fallen ill during the school hours and was rushed to hospital for treatment. However, her uncle did not believe it.
A eulogy written by Jerop's sister and brother in her name, indicated that Jerop was a joyful, disciplined and Christian loving girl who was elated when she got an admission at St.Teresa of Avilla Secondary. The young girl had written her eulogy telling her suffering, and that what led to the answers of the question many people had about her death.
"I fell sick, I cried alone. Day in, day out. But they told me nivumilie. To stop pretending. But that headache, my God, so so painful. In the dorm alone, thought alot.
