"My name is Damaris Kawira. I am from Maua, Meru County. I am going to tell you more about myself. This is a true story about myself. I know this will reach out to many people out there who are going through a lot, and also to the young girls out there who want to start life. I just felt I needed to talk and share this. I am tired of silent pain. I need to share and talk to the world. I am not perfect. I have made and continue to make mistakes, but I don't want anyone, not even my worst enemy, to live like me or be like me. I need someone out there to read my story. Maybe it will teach them something. And please, don't judge me. We are all humans. I was born in a family of five. I am the youngest. I was born in 1996, but in 2000, I lost my dad, and in 2005, I lost my mom. I was very young and didn't experience the love of parents. This means he has to gain not less than two thirds votes in the ten Mount Kenya counties. ``That won’t be a walk in the park for him,`` says political analyst Lloyd Wasike. On the other hand, opposition leader Raila Odinga will be making his 5th attempt for the presidential seat. Its not y...

Moving back to Liverpool was great; I felt like I was coming home, much to my parents’ displeasure! For the first week back, I worked a few days for the university in my job as an Ambassador, showing potential new students round while becoming reacquainted with the campus myself. When lectures restarted, it seemed like summer had disappeared in a matter of minutes! However, I was eager to get learning again and looked forward to seminars and lectures on the books and topics I had been researching over the summer. Students from older years had warned me about my year being pretty scary, so I had prepared well and really enjoyed the first lectures from my new modules. Reconnecting with my societies was doubly fun, being the President of Comb...
